About Olivia's Bears
Our Mission
Olivia knows first-hand that she could not have made it through her struggles without the love and support of others. Her hope is that the gift of a bear reminds children in need of how many people love and care for them.
Olivia's Bears wants to reach as many children and families as we can. We know both the child diagnosed with an illness and their support system are affected by this life changing event.
Our goal is to provide support at all stages of a child's journey with their illness. We know that support is still needed even after their time in the hospital is over.

Announcing Our 2026 Scholarship Recipients
We are proud to announce the recipients of the 2026 Olivia’s Bears, Jessica Stone Memorial Scholarship.
This year, we received 10 inspiring applications from students whose lives have been impacted by life-threatening illnesses, either personally or through the journey of a sibling. After careful consideration, five $1,000 scholarships were awarded to students who demonstrated remarkable resilience, determination, compassion, and commitment to their future goals.
Congratulations to our 2026 recipients: Bridget Lyons, Charlotte Lyons, Kimberly Schmitt, Liliana Tortorella, and Will Melcher.
We are honored to support these outstanding students as they pursue their educational dreams and carry forward the strength and perseverance that inspired this scholarship.
Spring Delivery
During our springtime bear delivery, Olivia’s Bears visited the 11th and 12th floors at Golisano Children’s Hospital. We delivered Build-A-Bears and gift cards to patients with the hope of bringing a little sunshine to their day.
The gift of a Build-A-Bear is a sign of hope, a symbol of love, and support.
